Join us in celebrating Yumna Wasif, recipient of a $3,000 ACE Scholarship and a rising architecture student at Thomas Jefferson University. A senior at B. Reed Henderson High School, Yumna has long been inspired by the iconic buildings of Philadelphia and New York — and now she’s preparing to shape skylines of her own. With a passion for design and a creative spirit that spans from ceramics to cardboard, Yumna combines artistic flair with architectural ambition in everything she does.
She shares, “ACE helped me understand the many careers involved in shaping the built environment and confirmed my decision to pursue architecture to make an impact on the world. It taught me teamwork, design, structure, and professional skills that I’ll carry with me into the future.” Outside the studio, Yumna is also a decorated public speaker and artist, having won awards at both regional and national levels. Her voice, vision, and values are building blocks for the future — and we are proud to support her every step of the way.
