We are thrilled to recognize Kenneth Leonard Gunawan, recipient of the $10,000 Carpenters’ Company Scholarship, as a shining example of curiosity, creativity, and future-forward thinking. A student at Mastery Charter Thomas and participant in M@CCP, Kenneth has been deeply engaged in dual-enrollment courses that have ignited his passion across multiple fields. He’ll attend Community College of Philadelphia this fall, majoring in engineering with a future as dynamic as his ideas — from biomedical innovation to smart furniture, energy systems, and even interior design.
Kenneth is a dreamer, a thinker, and a builder of big visions. He shares, “ACE has opened my eyes to the vast horizons of possibility, where dreams manifest and dormant potential awakens. A forge where curiosity burns brilliant-bright, molding spirit with courage to create and the will to reach beyond.” With a goal of one day creating interconnected systems that make everyday life more efficient for all, Kenneth is already engineering a better world — one idea at a time.
