ACE Mentor Greater Philadelphia Golf Outing Recap

October 6, 2025 | ACE Mentor Program of Greater Philadelphia

On Monday, October 6, 2025, the ACE Mentor Program of Greater Philadelphia hosted its 6th Annual Golf Outing, bringing together industry professionals, mentors, sponsors, and friends for a day of connection and friendly competition—all in support of ACE’s mission to inspire the next generation of architects, engineers, and construction leaders.

The event was held under clear autumn skies at The Union League Golf Club at Torresdale, where over 150 golfers teed off in support of our students and programming. Participants enjoyed a full day on the 18-hole course, with others partaking in a half day at The Landing Par 3 Course and our first golf clinic.  The event was filled with contests, raffles, and networking opportunities. Highlights included the Longest Drive – Winner Eddie Sacco, Closest to the Pin – Winner TJ Henderson, and the always-popular Putting Contest – Winner Anthony Naccarato.

Our Team Winners for the 18-hole course were as follows:

1st Place: Herman Goldner, Ben Goldner, Greg Goldner and Mike Bilotta

2nd Place: Nick Scarpone, Nicky Scarpone, Marty McCarthy and Andrew Donnelly

3rd Place: Jens Knudsen, Vin Sarnatora, Jason Ropars and Ernie Tessein

Beyond the fairways, the day was about community. Our sponsors and participants helped raise vital funds that directly support scholarships, mentorship programming, and career opportunities for high school students across the Greater Philadelphia region.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our event sponsors, volunteers, and all who joined us to make the outing such a success. Your continued support empowers ACE students to explore and pursue meaningful careers in the design and construction industry.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for another fantastic day on the course—continuing to build futures, one swing at a time.
