Teams will be provided with a designated space to display examples of the work done throughout the ACE year, either in the main area of the CHOP Commons or within two adjacent conference spaces for formal presentations. Teams will have time to set up starting at 4pm, and at 5pm we will open the doors to family, teachers, mentors, and ACE sponsors who will walk through the “gallery” and watch the presentations. We encourage the students to see this an opportunity to network, practice their public speaking, and most importantly, to have fun and celebrate another successful year of ACE! 

WHAT DO I NEED FROM YOU, OUR TEAM LEADERS?

We would love to display some of the work your students have completed while working with you. If you/your students have sketches, plans, models, mock-ups, photos, videos, or other examples of things they’ve done during your sessions, we want to display them! Please coordinate internally with your team to determine the best medium for displaying your work: physical models, project boards, digital slide decks, drawing sets, etc. All we ask is that you let us know what you intend to bring, if you are able to provide your own easels, extension cords, etc, and what resources you need from us.  

UH OH!  WE DIDN’T SAVE EXAMPLES OF STUDENT WORK!

That’s okay!  You can use a laptop and create a slideshow of photos and/or videos of student work!  You can also send photos to bsheeler@acementor.org and we’ll have boards printed to represent your team’s accomplishments!

REGISTRATION

This Student Showcase is an evening event celebrating the ACE experience for our wonderful students and mentors. We will be offering light snacks and beverages, like a non-alcoholic cocktail hour! This event is FREE for all attendants and is tailored to our students, their parents, mentors, and educators as a thanks for supporting the program.
